Internal Sales Manager – Commercial Finance Hixon/Uttoxeter – Office Based

The role:

We are currently looking to grow our internal sales team and we have an opportunity for an Internal Sales Manager within Amica Finance. Somebody who manages leads and complete deals. A proven asset finance sales professional.

What you need

To be considered for this role you should possess at least 18 months previous experience in an asset finance sales role. This must be in the commercial finance sector and not in personal or car finance.

Amica Finance are a growing independent commercial finance brokerage & vehicle dealer based in the Midlands.

Operating from our own large yard and office we can offer a hands-on approach to our customers offering the ability to fund, find and sell any business asset. We stock several commercial vehicles at any one time.

Our finance offering includes asset finance, business loans, commercial mortgages, stocking finance and much more.

This could be an opportunity to work with an upcoming finance brokerage & dealer which is investing heavily in both digital platforms, a new office and cutting-edge marketing.

With our breadth of products, extensive panel of funders (over 70), a compliance system, and superb support system, we can provide you with the resources to grow your customer base and personal income.

The Role

The purpose of the role is to build and grow sales from our current customers and those introduced via our network of introducers. This role will also handle any finance enquiries for our own stock. The role will be about sales, and you will be expected to see deals through from introduction to pay-out.

You will also be expected to form new relationships with suppliers, dealers, and introducers to manage these relationships moving forwards.

You will also work with funders to find the right solutions for your customers. This will allow you to grow a large understanding of what most funders in the UK offer.

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Hunt new business over the phone, in person for stock & customer introductions from suppliers.
  • Follow up customer enquiries, quoting, and completing deals.
  • Following up introducer customer introductions, proactively make telephone calls to discuss financing requirements, negotiate pricing and close the sale.
  • Promote and sell products and pricing policy and negotiate on rate if required and/or refer to line manager.
  • Be prepared to attend the relevant industry events with the aim of supporting relationships and maintaining industry awareness.
  • Regularly manage introducer and customer pipelines.
  • Ensure proposals are promptly acted upon and submitted via the relevant systems.
  • Manage Risk declines and act as the first point of contact for appealing decisions.
  • Hit personal and team volume, income, and margin targets

Office support

You will have the full office support of an office-based team who can cover your holidays and provide full deal management.

Cutting CRM system

Our sophisticated, online deal CRM system talks directly with lenders and customers. Using it will reduce your administrative burden and give you back time that you could better use to transact more business.

As a management tool, it supports the end to end process from proposal to pay out, records all communications and stores documentation securely. Links have been made into the funders’ platforms to enable real time decision making. The technology has full search facilities and enables users to produce fast, accurate and compliant quotations.
